Chatbot for Telegram
Telegram starts right away: @BotFather issues the token and there is no platform review to wait for. What differs from an ordinary builder is where the flow comes from. We do not start from a diagram to fill in, we read your chat history and assemble the answers out of it.
Create the bot in @BotFather
You message @BotFather and get a token. This is the only step done outside dmhive, and it takes a couple of minutes.
Upload a chat export
An export from Telegram Desktop works, and so does one from Instagram: customers ask the same things whatever the messenger. We read text only, photos and video are dropped while the archive is read.
Edit and publish
The flow opens in the editor: messages, buttons, conditions, pauses. Every phrase can be rewritten and checked in the dialogue simulator straight away. Publishing takes one click.
Telegram has no twenty four hour window like Meta does: once a person has messaged the bot, you may answer a week later. That removes the main nuisance of direct messages, and it also calls for restraint: bots do get blocked over user complaints, so writing without a reason is a bad idea.
Prices, delivery times and opening hours come from a table we assembled from your own chats, not from something the model made up. You edit it with the mouse, and the bot answers the new way immediately, with no need to rebuild the flow.
The token is pasted in the app and publishing takes a single button. The live bot only changes when you publish, so the draft can be edited calmly, and if the new version disappoints there is a rollback to the previous one and a disconnect.
The bot lives at a t.me link with its name. Put it in your Instagram bio, under posts, on a business card or a QR code by the till. The bot does not bring buyers on its own: it answers people who already wrote. If your customers only write in Instagram direct messages, we say it plainly: until that channel opens, a Telegram bot will not see all of them.
If you already have a bot, its token moves over, and with it the name, the link and the subscribers. The old service has to be stopped before connecting: one token can serve only one service, otherwise messages start splitting between them in half, and the app warns about this when you connect.
What people usually ask
Is there a platform review to wait for?
No. Telegram does not review bots before launch: the token is issued immediately and the bot answers a minute after connecting. An Instagram account connects from the app with a button, access is granted on request.
I have no Telegram export, only an Instagram one. Will that do?
It will. The flow is built from the meaning of the conversations, not from the file format: people ask about price, delivery and availability the same way everywhere. A bot built from Instagram chats works in Telegram without rework.
How many messages per second can the bot handle?
The platform sets the limit: around thirty messages per second per bot and one per second into a single chat. For answering customers that is plenty, even at peak hours.
Can I move a bot that already runs on another service?
Yes, the token moves. The old bot has to be stopped: two processes on one token split the messages between them and half the replies go nowhere. The flow is rebuilt from your chats rather than copied, which usually makes it shorter than the old one.
